Rocket and Model Plane Tracking

LL Electronics has been manufacturing telemetry systems for over 35 years, and our systems are in use worldwide in a wide variety of applications and conditions. As one of the longest standing companies in the industry we stand by our products backed by decades of experience and friendly service.

LF4 and XLF

Transmitters:
Our transmitters are the lightest and most durable transmitters you can find to track your Rockets and Model Planes! Originally designed for use on Peregrine Falcons, these units are extremely lightweight and durable with high power output for long range tracking. Battery life is unsurpassed in such a small package with a high output power.

Receiver Setup

Receivers:
When coupled with our receivers any transmitter at a covered frequency will have more range. MN and MNS series receivers are vastly more sensitive than any scanner type receiver you will find. These receivers are designed specifically for tracking down radio transmitters, and will have superior pin-point accuracy with our folding 3 element Yagi antennas.

*Ranges heavily terrain dependant. Line of sight based on transmitter and receiver being 6 ft above ground with no obstructions. Line of sight ranges of over 90 miles could be attained if tracking from a high vantage point such as an airplane. Typical tracking ranges in more dense cover and hilly country could be closer to 3-7 miles.

These are our suggestions for widest usage in Rockets and Planes, many more transmitter styles are available by following this link.
